Behaviour change happens in stages. Map each group to their current position, define the behaviour you want, and name the barrier stopping them from moving forward.
From Unit 4:
Adoption stages: Unaware → Aware → Experimenting → Using → Advocating. Click a stage to mark where each stakeholder currently is. The right intervention depends entirely on where they are — not where you want them to be.
Add stakeholders in Unit 3 to populate the adoption map.
Use the EAST framework. Each nudge should respond to a specific diagnosed barrier — not be chosen at random. The question is always: what makes this next step easier, more appealing, more social, or better timed?

Personalise the benefit. Use recognition, visible progress, or identity alignment. People move toward things that feel rewarding.

Show that people similar to them are already doing it. Champions, peer stories, visible adoption by respected colleagues.
Timely
Intervene at the right moment
Deliver when people are most receptive — at a decision point, after a frustrating experience, or when momentum is building.
